7th Scouts Camp at Home
Wow what a fantastic weekend the scouts had! It was full of dens, tents, cakes, a movie with popcorn, sweets, navigation challenges, a campfire and even the building of a catapult! The 7th scouts really went all out and showed of their skills at our 3 day virtual camp!
The weekend started off with some yummy cakes and a campfire with many scouts whipping up some delicious meals and breakfasts- even entering the “most creative breakfast competition”!
We created our own catapults and practiced lots of knots with strawberry laces, before settling down to watch a film together.
A great weekend was had by all and it was full of some fabulous life skills. The scouts even managed to navigate their leader back to safety.
Roll on the next camp! Meanwhile, scroll on down to see some pictures from our virtual camp weekend.
Den/Tent building is an essential for a virtual camp, our scouts had to get creative as not everyone could fit a tent indoors!
Look at how skilled our scouts are at cooking, no excuse now not to help out Mum and Dad!
Lots of fun activities were completed during the virtual camp, making a cake in a mug, planting seeds, making tasty knots good enough to eat, watching a movie and much more.
A challenge for the morning to create a truly amazing breakfast. We loved how our scouts imaginations went in all sorts of directions, some recreating camps and lots of exciting animals along with some cute characters.
